Does my parent need a smartphone?
No, but they need email. They check in from the link in a reminder email, which opens on any phone, computer or tablet. There is no app to install.
What if they forget one day? Will it cause a false alarm?
The 26-hour window gives built-in flexibility. If they normally check in at 9 AM, they have until 11 AM the next day. You can also adjust the interval to give more time.
Can I set this up on their behalf?
Yes. Create an account, set up the countdown, and the check-in sends a reminder to their email before each deadline. They just need to tap the link in it.
What message do I receive if they miss a check-in?
You receive the message you wrote during setup. You can include their address, medical info, neighbor's number, or any instructions that would help in an emergency.
Can I pause it when they're visiting me?
Absolutely. Pause the countdown from your dashboard when they're staying with you, and resume it when they go home.
Is there a free trial?
